Record High Number of Families Served
Record High Number of Families Served
Fiscal year that ended June 30, 2012 has been an exceptional one for HFH Macedonia, as it reached the record high number of families served through both construction interventions and Housing Support Services (HSS). This performance ranks the Macedonian national organizations among the top performers within Habitat for Humanity International, network that has operations in 90 countries.
The historical overview of the performance of the Home Improvement Fund (HIF), Roma Housing Fund (RHF), Half Builds and New Builds program (HB/NB), Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS), Energy Efficient Homes (EEH) and the Special Projects (SP) can be seen below.
At the same time, the numbers of families served through Housing Support Services went beyond projections after new services were developed, beside the existing Construction Technical Assistance (CTA). These services, some of which are developed under the auspice of HFHI's Strategic Innovation Grant (SIG), are associated with the range of already completed, ongoing or recently launched non-construction programs and projects: Promoting Housing Rights for Roma (HRR), Legalization of Roma Housing (LRH), Improving Energy Efficiency for the Housing Sector (IEE), Assisting Former Refugees (AFR) and Developing Indicators for Social Inclusion in Housing (SIH).
