Housing Microfinance for Roma

The Regional workshop: Exploring Opportunities for Improving Housing Microfinance Services for Roma is behind us. HFH Macedonia and its co-organizers the local office of FOSIM - Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia and Micro credit foundation Horizonti succeeded to bring together for two days many relevant organizations from this wider region and discuss the three point challenge: Roma, Housing, Microfinance. The workshop was held April, 12-13th in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.

With nine presentations and many constructive discussions this regional event successfully created link between all participants and established a solid base for transfer of knowledge for issues related to best practices in Roma housing, and the field of development and managing the micro financing of Roma housing. As follow up of this workshop a brochure with the conclusions and recommendations will be prepared. In meantime, you can find all presentations that were part of the workshop here.
