New builds program
As a result of the initial research of the housing needs, and individual and group initiatives from people living in poverty housing, HFH Macedonia despite the start with innovative programs, made decision to start with so called traditional Habitat program of building new homes for low income families in need.
Following the criteria for community identification that was seen as necessity as HFH Macedonia works on the whole territory of Macedonia, HFH Macedonia started the first construction of new homes in area on the outskirts of Veles, town in central Macedonia.
The draft design for the first Macedonian Habitat settlement has planned 62 homes built in 11 units with apartments from 40 to 80 square meters in four different types of houses.
